Hi, my name is Felicia.
I am terrible at small talk and love to talk about the deeper stuff. Here is a little about me at this present moment in time.
I grew up in the USA and have since spent many years nomadic. Different countries, different continents, and a lot of bouncing between them. I am an explorer at heart, of this beautiful planet and of the inner worlds as well.
Ever since I was young the question was always with me: Who am I and why am I here?
That question has taken me on many adventures. Way too many books. Discovering many different concepts and religions. A year living completely off grid with midwives, learning from the wise women. Meditating in the Himalayas. It led me into birth work and the mysteries of the womb, into self-inquiry and deeper into meditation (which eventually leads to an affinity for silence and a desire to drop it all).
I am guided by spiritual inquiry, wonder, play, and the unfolding wisdom of presence. I am a musician, poet, writer, astrologer and lover of all things occult and esoteric. I am also a silly goose. I love a good laugh! Laughter is the best medicine.
My work here started with birth, working as a doula. Attending births asks exactly what comes naturally to me: presence, intuition, information, advocacy, reverence for mystery, an open heart, and the ability to move with whatever is unfolding right now.
I love being in service to something so raw and real…
I love reminding people of their own innate power.
And yet we have been conditioned to fear birth. Through poorly interpreted religious texts, through media, through the stories we are handed without question. We are told to hide from the thing we came from. To numb it, to cut it out, to dread it.
Why dread the most powerful process in physical existence? Why dread the doorway every one of us came through?
This is my reverence for the feminine. And birth is not only happening in a woman’s body. Something is always being born inside every person, man and woman. A version of you dies so a truer you can be born. It happens in every living thing, in planets, solar systems and galaxies.
Birth is everywhere, and it tends to work very well by design. Otherwise our species would not be here. Our planet would not be here. Our solar system, our galaxy, and everything beyond it wouldn’t be here… Think about it.
My own menstrual journey opened the door to the power and intelligence of the womb, and the work opened out from there. Birth is still the foundation, but how I approach birth is how I approach everything else: hands-on with Mizan therapy, coaching, workshops, guiding people through the most pivotal moments of their lives, deep listening, being a friend. It is all the same.
In my 7+ years as a birth doula, childbirth educator, Mizan therapist, and coach, I have supported 200+ people through births, childbirth education, coaching, consultations, and hands-on womb work. I have also held space for death and loss. I honor the transitions between worlds with deep reverence.
If you want to know a little more about this side of my work, feel free to watch this video.
Along my journeys I have been blessed to cross paths with so many interesting, wise people, which inspired me to start Wisdom Weavers podcast. I have also been interviewed on several podcasts myself. I write on Substack, I put videos on YouTube now and then, some music on SoundCloud. Everything I do creatively you can find in the Library.
So much of this world is conditioning. My intention is to free myself of my own, and then to help others discover the freedom to drop theirs as well, and come into a more authentic place within themselves. So that their thoughts, actions, and words come from a real place.
We live in a time of great freedom and great distraction. Let’s make the best of it.
