MIZAN THERAPY

WOMB AND ABDOMINAL MASSAGE│CONSULTATION │HORMONAL WELLNESS

Your body works for you, not against you.

After attending dozens of births, and more than 150 Mizan sessions, what I have come to know is this: Your body is wise. Everything is a message. All seeks balance.

Nothing happening there is a mistake, and nothing needs fixing. What is needed is optimal balance.

Common is not the same as normal.

…Debilitating cramps, inflammation, endometriosis, fertility struggles, prolapse, uncomfortable symptoms, hormonal imbalance. These are common, so they get called normal. Your womb may simply be asking for your attention and care.

The modern gynecological approach is: Wait and see, a bandaid, or cut it out.

What's missing is the care, the root, and the healing. That is where Mizan works.

Mizan is an Arabic word meaning balance. The therapy comes from indigenous North African tradition. It is gentle, nourishing and deeply effective. The work realigns the uterus and the abdominal organs so the reproductive, hormonal, digestive and nervous systems can do what they already know how to do.

The womb is highly responsive. You might be surprised how easily things adjust with your attention and care.

(The abdominal work is also beneficial for men. More on that below.)

  • Gentle meditation to bring the nervous system intro relaxation

  • At least 60 minutes of hands-on Mizan

  • Several practices to take home

  • A follow-up email afterward with everything written down

Returning sessions are 90 minutes.

  • Mizan with room to talk, or Mizan plus deeper bodywork on whatever you want worked on that day

  • Up to 70 minutes hands-on when you want less consultation

Abdominal Massage For Men:

The hands-on work is not only for women.

Men carry a lot in the abdomen too. Digestion, tension, held stress, years of holding it together. The same techniques apply, and I adapt the session to what your body is asking for.

Good for digestion, circulation, abdominal and lower back tension, nervous system regulation, overall vitality, and coming back into contact with your own body.
